CAN recognises the substantial damage that drug and alcohol use may have on individuals, families and communities. In response, they exist to promote change by delivering a range of quality services that raise awareness, prevent misuse and offer interventions to improve people's lives.

So...a fine night had by all! We have our initial total of £375.03 that is going to help CAN and the valuable work they do. You can still donate online (and I know that there is more money on its way) by clicking the Donate button to the right...and we are also hosting a reading by Alan Moore and money raised goes to CAN. It is tomorrow. It starts at 7:30 at the Nook Cafe in the Fishmarket. It raises money for a brilliant charity. You will be there! Tickets are £5 and amongst other acts you will hear @thisismaps dj and live music from @decibelselctro and others. We hope you join us!

Like the title says! Volunteer meeting tonight at the Lamplighter pub, Northampton, 6pm! Find out what's going on and how you can help!
The vetting has been done and I am delighted to announce that the charity we are supporting is CAN. You can read more about them on their website http://www.can.org.uk/ and I will post more information about how the money we are raising is going to help their work.
